The Rajasthan Royals started off badly. In the first ball itself Ansodkar was run out. They lost quick three wickets including the opener Smith. Then came the partnership of Yousuf Pathan and Dogra. Yousuf Pathan was quite for sometime. But he suddenly started to blast and in the span of 3 overs they scored 61 runs. Yousuf Pathan sending most of the balls out of the boundary and he was ruthless and punishing the bowlers. The local fans supporting the local team were silenced by the bullets flowing from Pathan’s bat. Pathan finished his century with 37 balls. Then Mumbai Indians struck and Pathan was run out. But Dogra remained aggressive and scored sixers and fours consecutively. The subsequent run outs proved costly for Rajasthan Royals and they could not reach the target, Thanks to some tight bowling by Zaheer and Malinga in the final overs.
