• Bangalore Royal Challengers IPL Team Strength

Bangalore Royal Challenger is one the hottest and happening team, in IPL this season, with plenty of things lined in its favour. Unlike last year where it was given a test team tag, the situation has been amended with induction of players like Robin Uthappa, Kevin Pietrsen , Jesse Ryder and looks quite optimistic for a flowering performance from Royal Challengers this season. Royal Challngers coach, Ray Jennings liquidated any doubts about the leadership skills of Kevin Pietersen, which came to foray, when his captaincy stint was terminated by English Cricket board and added that he was in same wavelength with Kevin, where what happened in past was not a matter of concern. Royal challengers look a completely refurbished team, with a new captain and new coach. Players like Jesse Ryders, Robin Uthappa and Ross Taylor can be impact players which they missed badly last season. Daryl Steyn, one of contracted player under Royal Challengers also expressed his confidence in his team making it big, under Kevin Pietersen captaincy, even though he personally don’t know him and said that even though Bangalore Royal Challengers lost the competition last year, they were very competitive, which would even become more fierce this season. Steyn also very optimistic about their coach, Ray Jennings , who has a proven track record as a coach, where he don the role of south African coach before and also under whom he debuted in year 2003. He was also quick to express disappointment about losing in – form Zaheer khan, who formed a formidable pair last year to Mumbai Indians. Steyn said that present of in – form bowlers like Roelof Van Der Merwe will certainly boost not only the local support but also their bowling department, where he had excellent success in domestic Twenty 20 tournament held in South Africa and also present of strong South African players could be vital for their team solid performance. Royal Challengers is team with highest number of South African players representing the IPL, namely Mark Boucher, Daryl Steyn, Roelof Van Der Merwe, Jacques kallis, Dillion du Preez, which could be decisive in roping critical local support and also local experience to win matches. No doubt, a team which once look like a test team, is all set to shed their image and create a deep impact in this tournament, with a players who have calibre and acumen to romp side to IPL throne.
